Policy for session cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds.
This practice adheres to standard field practices for session cancellations:
Rescheduling is offered within the same week where possible, but is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the practice.
Sessions that have taken place are non-refundable. If a session is cancelled by the practice with less than 48 hours' notice, a full refund will be provided or the session may be rescheduled at the client's preference.
For group therapy programmes or assessments where payment has been made in advance:
Psychological assessments require significant preparation time. Cancellation of an assessment with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a partial fee for time already invested in preparation. This will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Being on the waitlist does not require any payment. Clients on the waitlist may remove themselves at any time by notifying the practice.
Approved refunds are issued via bank transfer or UPI within 7 working days of confirmation. To request a refund, please use the contact form and include your name, the session date, and your preferred payment details (account number and IFSC, or UPI ID). Any fees charged by the payment gateway at the time of the original transaction are non-refundable.
To cancel or reschedule a session, please use the contact form or WhatsApp as soon as possible. Please include your name and the date of the session.
The practice recognises that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances occur. In cases of genuine emergency, the cancellation policy may be waived at the discretion of Dr. Borah. Please communicate as soon as possible.
